Message from the Principal Chief Commissioner’s Desk

It gives me immense pleasure to present the website of the Vadodara Zone to all members of the trade, officers of the CGST department, and the general public. The primary objective of this website is to keep stakeholders informed with real-time updates related to CGST matters in the Vadodara Zone.

The CGST Vadodara Zone comprises 8 (eight) Commissionerates, including 4 (four) Executive Commissionerates, 2 (two) Audit Commissionerates, and 2 (two) Appeals Commissionerates, with their Headquarters located in the cities of Vadodara, Surat, and Vapi. All these Commissionerates are headed by the Principal Commissioner/Commissioner. This website has been developed as a unified digital platform to effectively manage, coordinate, and provide seamless access to information and services across all these Commissionerates under the Zone.

The portal has been thoughtfully designed to provide comprehensive and easily accessible information regarding the jurisdiction of the Vadodara Zone, including details of areas under its purview and contact information of the concerned officers. This initiative is a step forward in our continuous efforts to deliver improved and taxpayer-friendly services. The website also features an intuitive, user-friendly interface with icon-based menus and sub-menus, ensuring quick and convenient navigation.
